I have been a customer of Island Brew Byou for the past 10 years. Both Derek & Pat are very knowledgeable and helpful and will recommend wines they think I will like. Over the past 10 years I have tried many different varieties of wine – both red and white. I have tried other U-Brew wines, but have been disappointed in the quality every time! Whenever other people taste my wines, they always comment on how good they are! I recommend Island Brew Byou to all my friends and, of those that have gone there, they have all told me I was right! I have been dealing with to Derek at Island Brew Byou for the past 2 years. I order a batch of beer every month and a batch of wine for the holidays. I have always been impressed with the quality of the beer, the price, and the service, you really can’t go wrong here. I share my beer with guys from different sports teams and everyone is always surprised about how good it tastes. The best part about beer from Island Brew Byou is that there are no preservatives which means an easier morning after!

A great big fat thank you for all the quality wines and service you have provided over the last 7 years. I have yet to taste a wine I did not like in all that time. I must admit that I am totally hooked on the Limited Edition Wines that come out once a year. Everyone I serve these wines to, wants to know where they can buy them and how much they cost. Most figure that they at least $ 20.00 per bottle and I certainly agree. My best wishes for a great Christmas and another great year for 2010. Thanks again.

We have dealt with this brewing company for the last nine years and they have been fabulous. Derek kettle brews age old recipes to create the best beers on the planet. Our favorite is French Alps Pale Ale (to die for). These are not kit beers. Derek grinds the grain and adds the ingredients and then kettle brews it the old fashioned way, very labour intensive for Derek. Our favourite white wine is Australian Chardonnay. Better than any store bought. The always friendly and helpful Derek and Pat run an impeccably clean and cost saving operation.

Our introduction to Brew Byou was by powder coating the wine racks that are presently used in thier shop. This was about 14 years ago. We were pessimistic about “homemade wine” tasting like store bought, but decided to try making some. From the first batch we were sold on the product. Using all the labels and shrink tubing that Brew Byou offers, it becomes very proffessional looking wine. We have tried many selections that Brew Byou offers and with a well stocked wine cellar, and tend to do many of the Limited Editions. Letting them age, they become excellent wines that everyone enjoys. Brew Byou is a well run business and good value for your money.
